Founded in 1975, Superior Auto is one of the largest privately-held automotive retailers in the U.S. focused exclusively on the sale and financing of used vehicles to the subprime market, competing in the Buy-Here/Pay-Here (“BHPH”) segment. Headquartered in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Superior currently operates 45 dealerships located throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan, selling vehicles and providing in-house financing to consumers who lack access to traditional financing sources as a result of limited income or past credit problems.
